Training First Nations People to Support Health Services in Their Communities

Keewatinohk Inniniw Minoayawin Inc. (KIM) is proud to offer the Diagnostic Support Worker Program in partnership with Red River College Polytechnic. This part-time, hybrid training opportunity helps prepare First Nations students to play a key role in delivering diagnostic services in northern Manitoba.

The Diagnostic Support Worker Program provides training in clinical and diagnostic support skills to help improve access to health-care services in First Nations communities. Participants gain knowledge in areas like patient prep, basic testing, lab safety, and health system navigation while being supported through a culturally safe learning environment.
